Why SamphireCo
SamphireCo was created to provide experienced, independent support to organisations looking to turn ideas into action.

Based on the Isle of Wight, I bring a strong understanding of places, communities and the challenges involved in delivering change. My experience working across planning, regeneration, development and programme delivery has shown me that successful projects depend on more than good ideas. They need clear thinking, strong relationships and a practical approach to getting things done.

While rooted in the Island, SamphireCo works with organisations across the South Coast and beyond, combining local insight with experience of delivering complex projects and partnerships.

With a passion for sustainability and resilience, we have supported projects that set out to achieve environmental improvement. Jenny has a 1st Class degree in Environmental Planning and a post graduate diploma in Sustainability and Adaptation Planning combined with a working knowledge of the natural world and local environments.

Experience
SamphireCo was founded by Jenny Hyland, a Chartered Planning and Development Surveyor with over 10 years’ experience delivering regeneration, development and sustainability projects.

Jenny’s experience spans planning, place-making, investment, programme delivery and partnership working. She has worked across complex projects that bring together organisations, communities and decision-makers to turn ideas into deliverable programmes and long-term outcomes.

Alongside project delivery, Jenny has represented places and organisations at national and international events, promoting investment opportunities, sharing best practice and building connections that support economic growth and sustainable development.
